Terms of Service — Merchants Decor

These Terms apply when you use merchantsdecor.com (the "Store") or buy from Merchants Decor ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms.

1. Who can buy
You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, and you must have a U.S. shipping address. We currently ship only within the United States.
2. Our products and weekly drops
- We sell enamel mugs that are printed on demand by our production partner, Printful. Each mug is made after you order it.
- We release designs in weekly limited-run drops. Each drop is open for a set time (normally Friday 9:00 AM CT to Sunday 9:00 PM CT) and may have a cap on how many mugs we sell. When the window closes or the cap is reached, the drop ends, even if it ends early.
- "Limited run" means we stop selling that design when the drop ends. We do not plan to re-release past drops.
- Product photos are mockups. Colors may look slightly different on your screen, and small differences in print placement are normal for printed products.
- Drop waitlists and countdown timers are coming soon.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required.
- Shipping costs are shown at checkout (see our Shipping Policy).
- We may change prices at any time, but a price change does not affect an order we have already accepted.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
4. Orders
- Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send an order confirmation email.
- We may cancel or refuse an order (and refund you in full) if there is a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, a drop cap was oversold, an address we cannot ship to, or a production issue at Printful.
- Changes and cancellations: You can change or cancel your order until the drop closes Sunday at 9:00 PM CT by emailing info@merchantsdecor.com. After we send the order to production, we cannot cancel it, because it is made just for you.
5. Shipping, returns, and refunds
See our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy. In short: each mug is made to order, so we do not accept returns if you change your mind, but we will replace or refund mugs that arrive damaged, defective, or misprinted.
6. Intellectual property
All designs, artwork, logos, photos, and text on the Store belong to Merchants Decor or its licensors. Buying a mug lets you own and use that mug. It does not give you the right to copy, reproduce, or resell the designs.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Store. That includes trying to hack it, scraping it, using bots to buy up drops, placing fraudulent orders, or breaking any law. We may cancel orders or block access if you do.
8. Product use and care
Follow the care instructions on the product page. Hand wash recommended. Enamel mugs can chip if dropped or knocked.
9. Disclaimers
Apart from what our Refund Policy promises, the Store and our products are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a problem comes up, please email us first. We will try to fix it informally.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
